New Jersey Update – A Season of Giving!

As the holiday season approaches, Colors4Change New Jersey has been working tirelessly to provide essential supplies to communities in need. Thanks to the generous contributions from individuals across the tri-state area, we’ve made a significant impact. A special thank you goes out to everyone who donated to our cause—your support is deeply appreciated.

One of the highlights of this season’s efforts was a remarkable school supply drive organized by Gill St. Bernard’s School in Gladstone, NJ. Their donation of 80 pounds of school supplies was a tremendous gift, and it helped us reach a major milestone: 4,000+ pounds of donated art supplies collected to date. This achievement marks an important moment for Colors4Change, and we couldn’t have done it without the kindness of donors like you.

To ensure all donations were sorted and prepared for distribution, we hosted a sorting event in Princeton, NJ, where volunteers gathered to organize the supplies. This event was key to ensuring that we can make meaningful donations in the coming weeks.

In addition to organizing school and art supplies, Colors4Change was proud to partner with Accompany Now!, a non-profit organization that provides home studies and post-release services to unaccompanied minors—children who have crossed the U.S. border without a parent or guardian or who have become separated from their families. As part of our ongoing commitment to these vulnerable children, we donated packs of art sets to help provide creative outlets and therapeutic support for these young people during their difficult journey.

Thank you once again to everyone who has supported our mission. We look forward to continuing our work in the new year and beyond, bringing the gift of art and creativity to those who need it most.
